Editorials. A private platform for brands and talent.
A quiet room where houses, agencies and artists meet a new generation of muses, real and rendered. Rosters, campaigns, bookings, an AI Studio and a Video Studio, all in one place. Built, operated and continuously improved by Sterdam.

Representation, production and publication, under one roof.
Editorials replaces the scattered chain of casting decks, email threads, retouch folders and invoices with a single private platform. Talent is discovered, briefed, generated, refined, booked and published without ever leaving the room.
Machine speed at the start. A human hand at the end.
Write a brief, choose a face, choose a mood, and generate a teaser frame in seconds. The teaser is a draft. Every frame worth publishing is submitted for studio refinement, where a person corrects, retouches and signs it off.
- Brief driven generation with talent and campaign context
- Teaser frames in the browser, no software to install
- Submit for refinement, tracked in My Projects
- One free generation, then credit packs
- Every output watermarked until it is approved
Approved stills become short motion pieces. A client side editor handles timing, transitions, text and sound, so a campaign can move from still frame to teaser film without a separate production cycle.
- Turn refined stills into short motion pieces
- Client side editing, nothing uploaded until you export
- Editorial typography and sound presets
- Export ready cuts for social and pitch decks
- Admin controlled, released per campaign
Eight decisions that shaped the platform.
Editorials was designed, engineered and shipped by Sterdam, end to end. No agency chain, no handover. The same standard we hold on client work.
Editorials opens with a passcode, not a signup wall. Access is granted, not requested. Everything behind the door assumes you were invited, which changes how the whole interface behaves.
Instead of a crowded navigation bar we built a single index overlay. Twelve rooms, numbered, each with a line of description and a line of intent. Typography carries the hierarchy. No icons, no chrome.
Talent covers photographed people and rendered muses in the same schema. Filters, availability, rates and representation all resolve through one model, so a brand never has to think about which kind of talent they are looking at.
A brand writes a brief, picks talent, and generates a teaser frame in the browser. That frame is a draft, never a deliverable. It lands in a refinement queue where a human retouches, corrects and signs it off before it can be published or downloaded.
Approved stills move into a client side editor that assembles short motion pieces, timing, transitions, and a soundbed. Rendering happens off the main thread so the room stays quiet while the work happens.
Generation runs on credits. The first is on the house. Additional packs are bought through hosted checkout, allocated by a signed webhook, and written to a per user ledger so every frame can be traced to the moment it was paid for.
Select talent, submit a brief, settle the fee. The booking record carries the brief, the roster, the terms and the payment state, so agencies and brands read the same truth at the same time.
Row level security on every table, roles held in their own table, server side authorisation on every mutation, and signed webhooks. Nothing sensitive is decided in the browser.
- React and TanStack Start
- Server functions for every mutation
- Postgres with row level security
- Managed authentication with Google sign in
- Generative image and video pipelines
- Hosted checkout with signed webhooks
- Edge hosting with a custom domain
- Observability and error capture
Sterdam is the parent company. Editorials is the product.
Product, design, engineering, cloud, AI and operations all sit in one house. When a brand works inside Editorials, it works on infrastructure we run ourselves, with the same long view we bring to every client system.
Editorials is open by invitation. Houses, agencies and artists who want a passcode, preferred terms or a partnership can write to us directly.
